This is my entry for Cici88 contest <3

I was thinking what should I draw and how should I do it and finally I thought that it's a perfect opportunity to do something traditionally. Her characters have really nice range of colors and at first I want to draw Mahel and Lagharta, but.. I just couldn't resist to draw red and blue on one piece of paper, so here are Alvexia and Velleda

Media & process:
I did a sketch digitally in CSP, but then I traced it into watercolor paper, cuz I changed my mind and I wanted to go with traditional media. Then I inked it with a dip pen and India ink. It supposed to be waterproof ink, but well.. Let's just say that I regret that I didn't use my Micron pens. Then, somehow I did watercolors with a lot of water lifting, but there still are some spots with floated ink (if you look closely). My watercolors aren't the best (in fact, those are the cheapest I could find in supermarket) but the pigmentation is surprisingly good. When I was done with paints I waited some time and I did some touches with color pencils to add little texture and darken some spots that my cheap paint have left too bright. Then I added some spots with white gel pen (please recommend me some good one T^T) and micron pens to bring lines back to life.
